The terms ‘Woodside’, ‘Woodside Cottage’ ‘or ‘us’ or ‘we’, ‘our’ refer to the family owners of the holiday rental property. ‘Holiday rental property’ or ‘the property’ refer solely to Woodside Cottage, Sannox, Isle of Arran KA27 8JD. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website or guest renting the property.

We care about our relationships with all rental guests and enquirers. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we have a legal duty to treat your data lawfully, fairly and transparently and we wish to do so.
We will protect any personal data we collect from you, be explicit about what purposes we are using it for and ensure you can request deletion of any personal data we hold on record.

your contact information in the form of current email address , postal mailing address, and phone number 

We don’t keep your personal financial payment data on record. We monitor receipts of online bank transfer payments and/ or cheques through our security protected property bank account at Bank of Scotland.   


How do we collect data about you?  
Directly through a phone/emailed enquiry and/or through a submitted booking form 
Directly or indirectly from Cottages and Castles, who act as our agent for a percentage of rental weeks (www.cottages-and-castles.co.uk)
In filling in a new booking form you are consenting for us to record your data


Controlling your personal information
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information gathered via either of these routes to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

If you believe that any information that we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct this.

How do we use your data?
We use this information solely for the purpose of enquiry about and rental of the property in the following ways: 
To send you information about renting the property, arrival directions, accommodation and related guidelines
For internal record keeping between ourselves and our current house manager/keeper to ensure your stay is comfortable and the property is appropriately prepared.
To inform Arran Team who are our key holding service on the island so that they may contact you in advance of your visit to arrange collection.


Accessing your personal data
You have the right to access and delete any personal data we hold on you. You can make a request for this in any way by phone, email, or via post. We will reply within one month of receiving your request. See our website for addresses and email contact form. 

External data use
We may share information on your contact data with the Arran Team as our key holding partner. We may need to contact Cottages and Castles our related rental agent, to clarify booking information if you have booked through them rather than directly with us. These partners are working in accordance with GDPR regulations, protecting your data and ensuring it is not used for any other purpose. We are not in control of their website security.

Our website is hosted by www.123/reg that is covered by its own privacy and security policies.

Security
We are committed to ensuring that personal contact information held by us is secure. The property has three family owners each of whom ensures contact information is held within updated password-protected devices plus secure accounts. 
In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and in written form.

Occasionally our site might contain links to other web sites of interest to enhance your visit to Isle of Arran and the property. You should note that we’re not responsible for the data policies (including data protection and cookies), content or security of these linked websites. Please note that currentl ,unlike most website providers, we don’t use cookies on our website.
